George MacLeod

George-ProfileGeorge successfully completed the WSET Diploma program in 2014 and became a WSET Certified Educator in 2015. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration. His business career began in Nova Scotia and after stops in Barbados, Maui and Whistler, he recently returned to Halifax.

George’s introduction to drinking wine began relatively recently. The pleasure gained motivated him to learn and experience as much as possible as quickly as possible and he has yet to find a style of wine he doesn’t like.

When George isn’t teaching you’ll probably find him planning his next cycling trip around the historic scenic vineyards of the Loire Valley or perhaps taking part in the famous Bordeaux winery bike tours.
