Tracey Dobbin

Tracey is the head educator at AUTOUR DU VIN. Based out of Bordeaux since 2011 Tracey is originally from Newfoundland and recently became the first person from Atlantic Canada to receive the prestigious Master of Wine certification! There are only 409 Masters of Wine around the world, including 10 from Canada. She also holds an MBA in wine management and marketing and a Master of Science degree.

Tracey brings a range of experiences from the wine industry. This includes instructing WSET® courses to Qatar Airways crew in the Middle East, market research for a Grand Cru property in Bordeaux, marketing with Canadian distribution agencies, retail sales, and service in tourism and hospitality and is the co-owner of Les 3 Cavistes, an importing agency in Canada.

Add to that her extensive travels to many classic wine regions, visiting both leading properties as well as small artisanal producers. These experiences bring her classes to life.

Tracey is an avid distance runner, which these days includes chasing after her 1 year old daughter when she’s not enjoying a glass of wine at the kitchen island surrounded by family and friends.
