The Chronicle Herald – Wine courses headed Halifax’s way
Tracey Dobbin acknowledges it may seem odd for a Newfoundlander to establish a wine school in Bordeaux, France.
“Somehow it makes sense,” the St. John’s native said with a laugh Tuesday in an interview from Prince Edward Island.
Dobbin was working as an occupational therapist in Vancouver when she decided she needed a career change.
A longtime wine enthusiast, she took wine education courses from the internationally recognized Wine & Spirits Education Trust, which led to her becoming a certified trainer.
